Desktop role games this one of the Intellectual Entertainments most widespread and popular in the world. People of all age play them already more than quarter of the century.
In role game participate from three to seven persons one of which is the leader. Other participants by means of game rules create the characters who participate in somebody an adventure which will be organised for them by the leader.

Rules for game on this system contain in «the Reference book of the Player”. To go deep into game and to develop its various aspects many other additional books of rules will help.
For game in D&D the average knowledge of English language as books of rules are written on it is required, at least. Nevertheless, the language barrier is not a serious obstacle as books are written by easy enough style and process of their reading promotes language perfection.
The essence of game process consists that the group of players from 4 - 10 people, руководимая and directed to the leader, should carry out the problems put before it, operating within the limits of a certain plot and by certain rules. Game is desktop and for participation in it it is not necessary to possess certain skills of the tourist and the fencer, to have a game suit and other special equipment, except a sheet of paper and the handle. The player can try to make any actions which the character created by them could make for the character. The success of these prospective actions depends on how abilities of the characters which roles they play, with combinations of points on various type playing bones which they manipulate are combined. Leading (Master) supervises over game, supplying players necessary for development of a plot by the information and playing roles of all characters which players face on a course of their adventures. It carries out about the same role, as well as the computer, that is conducts game as though in "an interactive mode", on an action course explaining that at present occurs, and watches observance of rules, sometimes taking out rather severe verdicts.
Perhaps, you will tell: "And in what appeal of such way of game in RPG actually consists?"
